Mentoring for Embodied Awareness & Spiritual Orientation
I’m Corynne Hilbert, LCSW. My mentoring work is shaped by more than twenty years in the healing field and is grounded in presence, discernment, and embodied awareness, rather than performance, productivity, or symptom-based frameworks.
This offering is distinct from therapy or clinical supervision. It is designed for people who already have experience, sensitivity, or responsibility in their work with others and are seeking orientation, coherence, and depth, rather than techniques or certification.
Who this mentoring is for
This work most often serves:
therapists or clinicians seeking mentoring and support outside of clinical or insurance-based models
somatic practitioners and body-oriented guides
shamanic or spiritually oriented practitioners
highly sensitive practitioners navigating burnout, discernment, or overload
people in transition between identities, roles, or ways of working
individuals who already guide others but feel unmoored, fragmented, or disconnected from their original calling
What people bring to this work
People may seek mentoring when they are experiencing:
burnout, disillusionment, or a loss of orientation in their work
questions of discernment, scope, and ethical alignment
a desire to deepen their work rather than add more techniques
the need to integrate spiritual experiences or initiatory passages
uncertainty about how to hold spiritual or shamanic material with integrity
a longing to reclaim confidence, coherence, and trust in their own way of working
How I work
My mentoring is grounded in:
somatic awareness and nervous system pacing
reflective listening and mirroring
nature-based orientation and land presence
shamanic understanding of power, boundaries, and spiritual responsibility
creative and imaginal processes when appropriate
I support insight becoming livable in the body, slowing the signal so you can feel and interpret your own guidance and move forward at a pace that supports your system.
Sessions may include reflective dialogue, somatic inquiry, land-based presence, symbolic or imaginal exploration, or guidance around spiritual orientation and boundaries.
What this mentoring is not
To be clear, this offering is:
not psychotherapy
not clinical supervision for licensure
not case consultation
not coaching for productivity, goals, or performance
It is a relational mentoring space focused on orientation, integrity, and embodied empowerment.
Experience & orientation
My background includes:
over 20 years working in the healing field as a licensed clinical social worker
experience facilitating groups, retreats, and training spaces
assisting in somatic and shamanic trainings, including mentoring participants
apprenticeship experience involving direct mentoring and guidance
ongoing study in facilitating sacred spaces, mirroring, and reflective practice
This work draws from lived experience, long-term practice, and a commitment to ethical, grounded guidance rather than hierarchy or credentials.
Spiritual Guidance
In addition to mentoring practitioners, I offer spiritual guidance for all individuals who are navigating questions of meaning, orientation, or inner authority. This work supports people who feel called to deepen their relationship with spirit, nature, or their own inner knowing, without bypassing the body or everyday life.
Spiritual guidance sessions may include reflective dialogue, somatic awareness, symbolic or imaginal exploration, and shamanic orientation. The focus is on discernment, integration, and relationship with spiritual experience, rather than belief systems, theologies, or performance.
This work is not therapy or coaching. It is a relational space for listening, exploring, and grounding spiritual insight into lived experience. own inner authority
My role is to witness your process, help you recognize yourself more fully, and support your system as you take steps forward from your True Self. This work is offered intentionally and scheduled individually.
