Somatic Regulation Sessions
Somatic Guidance (sometimes described as somatic coaching) offers embodied, non-clinical support for people seeking clarity, regulation, and inner orientation without therapy or performance-based frameworks. My work begins with the body — not as something to fix, but as something with deep wisdom to listen to.
As a somatic practitioner, I offer embodied, non-clinical support for people. I work in a nervous-system–aware and trauma-sensitive way with people whose systems have learned to rely on thinking, vigilance, or holding it together in order to feel safe. Often this strategy once made sense. Over time, though, it can become exhausting.
Through somatic, relational, and shamanic approaches, I support moments of felt safety, orientation, and inner permission. When safety is present, even briefly, the need to brace or control often softens on its own.
This work isn’t about changing who you are. It’s about creating the conditions where your own guidance can be felt again.

How I work
I work slowly and with attention to pacing. Language matters. Timing matters. So does simply allowing without efforting. Nothing is forced. Defenses aren’t pushed aside. We follow what your system is ready for, and there is no need to relive trauma or explain your story. This work supports nervous system regulation for when you feel overwhelmed, shut down, or have difficulty settling even after meaningful inner work.
Sessions may include:
intuitive somatic coaching and grounding
noticing where effort, holding, or vigilance lives in the body
relational presence and reflective dialogue
land-based awareness or nature connection
symbolic or imaginal exploration
This work may be a good fit if you
feel chronically braced, on guard, or mentally “on”
notice rigid or looping thought patterns that don’t respond to insight alone
are highly sensitive or empathic and easily affected by intensity
feel ready for change but want something gentler than effort or analysis
are navigating a transition, threshold, or reorientation
want support that doesn’t require masking, performing, or explaining yourself away
You don’t need to retell your story or relive past experiences. Curiosity and a willingness to notice sensation are enough.
Ways this work is offered
Individual Somatic Regulation Sessions
One-to-one sessions focused on embodied awareness, orientation, and integration. These sessions support clarity and regulation in small, precise ways that can be lived with over time.
Small Group Offerings
Occasionally offered in very small groups. These spaces emphasize pacing, shared presence, and nervous-system safety, without pressure to disclose or perform healing.
What this work is not
To support clear discernment, this work is not:
talk therapy or analysis-driven treatment
clinical supervision or case consultation
crisis intervention
performance-oriented self-improvement
belief-shaping or spiritual instruction
Many patterns we think of as problems are actually attempts to stay safe. When the body no longer needs to brace, thinking softens. Choice becomes possible again. Please reach out to explore fit and availability. Sessions are available in person in Northern Colorado and virtually.
